How do you get job orders?
11 out of 20 respondents report that mostly they get job orders from local clients as their target market is Bangladesh. This may somehow be confusing as firms have reported earlier that their major source of revenue is international market. Actually, both are right; being Bangladeshi firm, no firm tends to leave the local market even if it is successful internationally. That is why firms always take local market into count.
Although the firms earn a lot providing outsourcing jobs, it is surprising that only one-fourths of the firms depend on freelance bidding sites which control world’s outsourcing workflow.
However, reference from previous and existing buyers play a dominating role while getting new jobs. Many of the respondents filled the ‘other’ option of the question saying how many types of reference they use to get new jobs. References include even NRBs and friends etc.
